Blindsk8er is right....you don't need any plans. Although, if you wanted to make a nice strong box, slap magazine has some nice box plans. I'm modeling mine after them, except mine will be a bit more high tech...since I'll have a full workshop for it. I'm going to make the frame out of pressure treated 2x4's (no biggy)...use screws to hold it all together...and then just layer some plywood on...then throwing angle iron on. I was considering make one side 'raised'....with round steel....and one side would a normal edge. I haven't decided, but these are some nice plans:

good luck, tell us how it turns out!

Advice...make it a few inches SHORTER than you initially want it...because lots of people I know, say "1 1/2 ft".....yet they are beginners. They build it, and can't do anything on it. Honestly..make it a tiny bit shorter than you want, and you'll be pleased.

That's nice..but I never said you can't do anything on a 1 1/2 ft box, I was using it as an example. The main point is, if you think you can crooked grind on a 2 ft box (assuming you are new to the crooked grind)...then you won't want to learn on a 2 ft box. You lower it to 1 ft - 1 1/2 ft...and you learn more.

go arround the internet to different skate park sites and look at the pix of the boxes they have and that will give you a few good ideas of ur own. u dont want a box someone else thought of because they skate different than u so just take a peice of that box and mix it with a peice from that other box over there and draw the picture of ur ramp. look at it. see if u like it. then build. plam before u build and make that ramp u plan on if u want to change it draw what the different ramp will look like and see if u like it better
