I have 60mm wheels with swiss bearings, but im thinking that they are too big. I want to get 54s so my kickflips are better and I can almost tre but I think my wheels are holding me back.
do you think i should buy new wheels?what are sites that sell cheap but good wheels?
If i do get new wheels, do you recommend bones reds for bearing (cuz my other ones sre perminantly ingrained into my bones)
plz help!

well if your pavement isnt terrible then get smaller ones

I've had a couple of bones reds and there very respectable wheels

noting outstanding or flashy, just the basics

60mm wheels were the norm back in the 80s for street skating. By today's standards, they might be a bit tall. That's not to say you couldn't get used to them, though. I'd bet smaller wheels would probably prove beneficial to you, unless you skate ramps, bowls and trannies most of the time.

I don't street skate any longer, but rather bowls/ramps/banks and wouldn't buy and skate a wheel under 58mm. Right now I'm rolling Bones SPF 60s with Bones Swiss, with some Black Label Blood Spots (60mm) ready to go on the sidelines.

my $0.02

I suppose the smaller wheels might help your flip tricks out but if you stick with the bigger ones it might pay off seeing as big wheels are badass, as is speed, which with big wheels, you can obtain more easily.

I love big wheels. I ride 55mm and want to go bigger. Really it just takes practice. I can't stand small wheels.

I hate small wheels. I always get stuck on the littlelest crack or even tiny bumps. My are about 30mm by now.

yeah same thing happened to my friend that happened to me. on the other hand, my other friend's reds worked perfectly. I think maybe i just bought a defective set of bearings
