Its Christmas, and ive got the hankering for new deck. My current one is a shop blank with a chipped tail and razor tail so bad, you could cut yourself with it. I was thinking habitat because alot of people like those, but then i started doing some research and deluxe boards seem to have better decks. Krooked was always an option and reals are also nice. Having no way to ride one, how do all these boards compare? ive used the search button and not much has come up....
Keep in mind, its for a newb, so it needs to last awhile and still be high quality
its Christmas so price is probably not a problem

im looking into getting a new board and everyone (ramprage users) are telling me to get a habitat. I tried looking on google but that wasnt very helpful so i might just go to a skateshop and look for habitat there that would be better.
I think prolly Habitat or Alien Workshop or Toy Machine or Real for you.

there all good that you listed.
if you want a flatter more mellow concave get something by tum yeto like a toymachine perhaps.
its a tough choice. out of them boards. there all good, if it was me out of those i would aim for the concave and the graphic.

habitat and krooked are mad decks.. that being said, they're 7 pieces of wood glued together. Pick the picture you like, and the one you feel most comfy on when standing in the shop. Theres no mad scale-o-meter which shows which is good and which is better (one, coz nobody cares THAT much!) but give em both a shot and see what u like.

^^^
his point proved it. physically speaking all decks are made the same basically its just the wood. stay away the new technologys really there is a downfall to each one.
like say..
santa cruz's powerlites. there good and stronger and so forth, the downfall the control is a small bit harder from what the skate shop said in a email. but i still skated it and loved it.

My Advice is Try each deck at least once, you wont know what skateboard is good or isn't good for your style unless your ride it.
Essentially they all are the same wood but all companies(unless they come fromt he same distributor) have small differences on their decks; which makes all of them worth buying.

Tum Yeto (Toy Machine, Foundation), Deluxe (Real, Anti-hero), and DNA (Habitat, Alien Workshop) distribution are your best bets. Personally I'd go with a Toy Machine, Habitat, or an Alien Workshop.
