Alright.. so i started skating around 2 years ago and i recently stopped because all of my time was baing taken up by varstiy lacrosse.

Sooo. im really good friends with the guys at my local skateshop.. so i was in need of a few shirts, so i run down to the skateshop, and i got my shirts that im going to buy right? Right as im about to go check out im confronted by around 4 little 13 year old kids (and they are nearly half my sive). They all start calling me a "*****" and they say that "i shouldnt wear skater clothes because i dont skate anymore."

What is with this gay ass word "*****"? Whats with all these little faggots insulting other kids because of what they wear? What is skating coming to? Not long ago skating was about having fun, and hanging out with your friends. Does this mean i have to be careful of what i wear?

What happened to skateboarding? Is it now some sort of fashion statement? Do clothes all of a sudden tell people who you are?

yeah i feel you bro. i was just watching some 90s skatevidoes of NYC and the skaters in the video were just wearing average-joe clothes. nowadays you have to dress to impress its kind of pathetic dont worry about those kids cause from what i make of them, they're probaly some young spoiled rich white kids that have their parents get what ever their little hearts desire just do what you feel like
