ok. my sis just got a new laptop and there is this one network that has 5 bars and we think that it is ours. The only thing is, is that i can not figure out the password. Is there anyway of finding out the password for it or is it completely useles..

If you dont know the password, its probably not yours.

Maybe, call your ISP or router service. But usally you should know your password. Ask your parents or something? And what kinda router do you have? the network name is usally the name of the family or the router itself. Linksys routers (which i have) shows up as Linksys, or you can change it.

some stupid you know what got into mine, is still trying. Thanks to norton they cant get in, but its dang anoying seeing and intrustion attempted to get in
ehh..if that happens find out the location where there getting in from. Some group in Europe is getting into mine..

Norton doesnt monitor wireless traffic, it only monitors the clients (computers connected to the router) traffic to and from. In other words, norton wont do shit from stopping intrustion. =P

Good way to stop your @$$ from getting wi-fi jacked? don't give your network a visible SSID, then Program the name into all the shizz in your house, assign it all a custom IP, then block other connections...
