I did my first loading dock a few days back. everyone said its impossible with such short runup (bout 2m with 3/4 of it made up of that metal shit) and since then, every light in front of me's turned green, flowers shine brighter, I been getting more Kickflips off stairs, got a set of Thunder highs for $10 AUD (normally 90), dropped in higher than ever before, etc.

Then today, some random dude after a good Skate showed us this ledge which was over my head, so I set up to try the thing. no support from my mates, just the random dude who prooly wanted to see me eat shit, and my mates rushing me to get to the trainstation when the train wouldnt come for another 20 odd minutes. I recon if I had like, ten minutes, I coulda nailed that shit mad, but my good mates decided I had "two more shots" before we left.

someone reassure me that mates are meant to be assholes or someshit?

actually this happens loads to me
the train will be coming in 30mins-1hr and me and my friend will be skating a spot when he said we need to go to the train station.. when we still have 30mins-1hr left <_<
you gotta do the same to them man, say they really wanna do a set, tell em they can have 3 shots and then you're leaving with or without them.. then they'll know how you feel
