Hey what's going on fellas?

Well, I've stuck around for about a year now, and now I think it's time to leave.
My ideals and concepts are obviously not willing to be heard by anybody, and on top of that, these forums have just plain died.

My best e-memories have been on here, and I love all you guys. I'm going to miss this badboy, lots of good people here. I will be coming back however, and soon as I get my dreads. I have quite the afro, and should be dreading soon, I'll take some pics and post them up. But other than that, I'm not really going to be stopping by. (Probably a relief to alot of you ;))

Remember that thread "Nearing the end of my Search."? It was about me finding the right path, but obviously at the time, I was confused and still searching. Well, I'm glad to say I have found MY path. And for once, it is not based on falsity, and on faith. (Thanks RooR;)) Although there are some spiritual aspects to my final conclusion, more of it has to do with logic and selflessness. A mixture of Buddhism, Hinduism, and Science.
Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Aaaaaaanywhom.

Peace and Much Love, John.
Don't you take my Kindness for Weakness.

I don't get why people decide to come and go from these forums like it's a thing you have to fully commit to or not at all. It's not like I'm thinking "omg I have to keep posting otherwise people will think I'm no longer around" etc etc.

Who cares, forums are forums. Got some time to kill on the computer? Then hey why not read some threads and post if you have something to say, or not. No biggy. I seriously don't understand why some people have to announce their departure like they are moving to a far away place with no internet access.

Whatever, good luck to you Slyde. You are a young kid, pretty emo to be honest, but still a nice kid. :)

I've never quite been able to understand the concept of "leaving" a forum. Like was said earlier...it's not like a commitment that you suddenly break. I mean...you just "decide" to no longer come on RR? bit of an odd thing. You either come on or you don't...I mean...it's the internet. It's like you either sit your ass behind a computer or you don't. Anyhow, whatever butters your muffin I suppose.

Good luck and steer clear of the urge to give yourself a special slyde facemask.

Well, that's because nobody loves you anymore.

You're not supposed to act like you're leaving forever, 'cause you'll miss us. :D
Right? D:
...and steer clear of the urge to give yourself a special slyde facemask.
You wouldn't think that has something to do with his "departure" aye?

I heard dreadlocks originates in pirates. they used to stop ships, and set their own hair on fire, then not put it out till everyone on the other ship was dead. Turned them into flaming loonies. godspeed fella.

Well according to wikipedia it actually originated from ancient Egyptians:

"The first known examples of locks date back to ancient dynastic Egypt, where Egyptian royalty and commoners wore locked hairstyles and wigs appeared on bas-reliefs, statuary and other artifacts.[1] Mummified remains of ancient Egyptians with locks, as well as locked wigs, also have been recovered from archaeological sites."

Or possibly Mexicans/Azteks:

"Locks may have also been part of Mexican culture before the 16th century Spanish conquest. In a description of an Aztec ritual, Historian William Hickling Prescott referred to locked Priests of the Aztec civilization, a Mesoamerican people of central Mexico in the 14th century, 15th century and 16th century."
