I know leaving skateboarding, or taking a long break, isn't what a true skater would do. But I play multiple sports; baseball and football. I love baseball, I play for my high school. My coach said it would be best for me to quit skating because of the chance that I could get injured and all of my hard work for athletics would be wasted. So I listened to him.

But I realized that I love skating just as much as I love baseball, which is saying a lot because I've been playing baseball since I was 6, and now I'm 16.

So I think it's time I make my return, but I need a bit of advice.

Here's the current situation, and please bare with me through this long thread:

I have a deck already, it's an old Element Bamtality that I've had for a while but haven't really skated it that much. It's been through a bit, but it feels great. So now I need new griptape, hardware, trucks, wheels, bearings, the whole nine yards. What setup do recommend to accommodate my deck? Money is pretty budgeted around here so I need the best bang for my buck.

Venture makes good trucks, I swear by Shorty's hardware, Pig wheels are nice, Jesse for griptape, and bones is the best for bearings.
