Ok I need to get started on my goal. Of course it's the most popular goal -To lose weight-
What do I do?!?!?!? I know nothing... I weigh 171 pounds and i'm 16 and i think i'm 5'9 I also want to get soem abs and shit like that.

eat less shit. if I could go 2 years (and counting) without drinking coke or pepsi, so can you. alcohol sucks dick. mcdonalds and all that other junk can be replaced by subway, or bring your own food wherever you go. fcuck soft drinks. Oh, and exercise heaps :-)

whenever i go to the subway near here, the bread is always soaked with greese (probably from the guy behind the counter)

become a vegetarian for a month or something. ive been one for a while, since easter (but not for wieght issues)....and skate a lot. skating help you lose weight :P

yeah, vegetarian fo' so'. i've been one since june and i love it. the veggie delight at subway is only like $2.50 and much more filling than a big mac imo. skate more to shed more weight too. and if you want abs, forget crunches. try dragon flags (if you can), planche progressions (don't go straight to planches), and manna progressions. google them.

To be honest, you need a certain body type for the token washboard abs. If you want to show you abdominal muscles, just run. Situps are a waste of time.

Skateboarding is an option. I mean no offence seriously no offence but pple might make fun of you in a skatepark especially if you are overweight and a beginner.anyways first get a bit slim then start skateboarding. If you want abs it's easy. This machine is really cheap and you use it 2-3 minutes everyday it's called ab king pro. If you dont wanna waste money then go for a run every morning before breakfast.
P.S DONT EAT JUNK FOOD AND START LOWERING WHAT YOU USUALLY EAT? and well that's it yea

take all the meals you eat and divide them by two so that you're eating 5-6 small meals a day. eat plenty of carbohydrates before you work out and get some lean protein in you as soon as you finish your workout. you can eat a lot but you must limit your fat intake, your sugar intake, and completely cut your saturated fat intake (unsaturated is the good kind).
try exercises like ab-rollouts using your skateboard as an ab roller, hang from a bar and lift your knees to your chest, do four-point planks (get in a pushup position, put your elbows on the floor, and hold that position as long as you can), try dragon flags (keep working until you can do them), and google squat tabatas to lose excess fat. don't bother doing long distance running, it won't help as much as people think. instead, do like 8 or so 40-yard sprints (go all out) with a 30 second rest in between. your cardio will jump through the roof. choose a couple of these to do 3-4 days a week, they'll only take a few minutes too. i never spend more than 1 hour working out.

Spot training doesn't really work. Focus on cardio and diet and whatnot, as you lose fat your abs will become more visable (though core training is really important). Remember the only way to lose fat is to burn more calories than you comsume.

Quite frankly I could give a shit what people think of me when I skate just as long as I am thank you anyway... And giantsfan wow thankyou :) I was mainly focusing on at leased losing the fat and getting healthier, but the detail was great stuff I even wrote it all down and made a scheduel for workouts and me and my step dad are running now at the school track.
