How many of you ever feared the childhood boogeyman? For some reason or another I've always been afraid of the concept and even though I know he's not real, I still get freaked out by clowns. I mean a legitimate fear of being around anything associated with the boogeyman. I've gotten over it now but it was crazy when I was little. Anyone else ever fear the boogeyman wilst little?

When I was a kid and up until a year or two ago I used to have terrible night terrors in which I would scream and I would never remember them in the morning. Wierd shit. I am deftly afraid of scary stories. Im like smart or something so my mind can remeber the whole story word for word and my brain will keep going over it. Im afraid of broken wrists too.

When i was little any movie that was kinda creepy creeped me out for a few days at night. In my own house i would be checking over my shoulder and stuff. I was always scared easily as a kid

i always found the boogeyman as a joke. i was quietly afraid of the candyman for a month or so. i knew about him for a while and one night when my mom had to leave late, i saw a bit of a low-budget candyman film and i thought he was real if he had a movie...
