Ramprage needs your donations!

I never thought I would ask before but we're in need of some help, money wise. Show us that you're thankful for all the hard work that has gone into Ramprage and help us continue to work on this amazing site.

In order to keep Ramprage.com running we are asking everyone to donate whatever they can - $5 or $5000.

Why Donate?

Ramprage.com Expenses:

- We are in need of funding for our forum license. The license expires this month (January 2003) and is $160 US
- Hosting costs, web space and bandwidth $15 US month
- Time to moderate the forums and update the site.
- We do not make any profit from this site what so ever. It is strictly out of love for sports and goodwill of people.

If there is any additional money left over I would like go purchase photopost, a photo gallery addon for this forum so each member can have their own gallery of video and images. ($140 US)

Thanks for your support everyone. Buy shirts and hoodies doesn't really help a lot, we only make about $2 profit per sale.

Steve you should try hooking a deal with a skate company and seeing if you can sell some of their stuff on you site if they like advertise your site and stuff so they would make money and so would you.

I like the idea about companies but what can we offer them, advertising space that doesn't seem to work well these days.

sry botu the fighting. I think it might be like running a small business cuz youd be selling their stuff so they would want to advertise so that they make profit, cuz the more you sell the more you would need from them therefore they would make more money. but as you said advertising doesnt work very well. you would need some way of spreading the site more and you would need good deals on skateboard stuff to get people to come back. also the photopost thing i think would be kind of a waste cuz the gallery is just fine, unless its gonna save you money in the long run. Ill keep thinking and get back to you cuz id hate to see the site go under; id give money but im like poor

For anyone who only as money , you can buy a money order at your local post office just walk in tell them you want to buy a money order for the amount your donating and they give you a check thing that you can send through the mail without worrying about pesky postalmen stealing your cash.

Snaker, getting to be site isn't the problem, it's making money or at least breaking even with the site that is :)

I might be able to send people a Ramprage sticker or something in return for any donations. Also you will get a special Contributer Title under your name on the forums meaning you helped us out that little extra ;)
