Reinstalling XP question.

If i reinstall xp on a computer then will i lose any mail that is through outlook express 6???

I am not talking about www.webmail.east.cox.net.. Like my parents have email setup through the outlook express installed on this computer. and i am wondering if i reinstall xp will all the mail and accounts get deleted or will they still be there???

Well what you could do

Is logon to the website that your IP email is going through and see if it's all saved on there, if it is you should be safe then. if not.

well i have the email through the computers outlook express and i can not log onto it through the cox website. If i could then i would not have this issue and i would have reinstalled it already..

Your account definetly won't be lost, and I don't see why your mail would be lost, but if anything, your mail would. 99% sure it wouldn't happen.

Ok.. We used to have a compaq computer where i had the same email. then we got a new dell comp and i set the email up on this one. I am about to go to the old computer and see if the mail that is on that one is on this one because that will answer my question, it would answer it by showing me that if i reinstalled windows and the email was not still loaded on here then i could reset it up and have everything back just like i used to have it.
