Street of Vert?

witch is better street or vert? i have only skated street but i want to try vert. so place your opinion on witch is better.

i dont really like vert. i dont think it gives you enough freedom for stuff. like in street, there are many different obstacles, gaps, stairs, ect. im stickin with street.

ps: where in michigan do you live?

well, neither one is "better" than the other, but i prefer street, but vert is fun once and a while

i like street because i'm not ready for vert yet, and even when i am ready for vert, i still think i'll like street more, cuz vert you either have to build one or go somehwere to skate it, but street i can just go out in my backyard and skateboard on my fun box (i have this huge skate thing in my backyard....it's fun)

I skate mainly street but when there is a day our school has off that no other school has off we spend all day at the skatepark(any other time and you cant even move).

I learned to drop in which was the most rewarding with i ever did in skating because i was really scared of takin a serious bail.it was pretty cool but i stick to street as theres no way i could get good due to the fact its always full.its pretty good to go though when its empty.

I love to skate both equally, I skate street alot and I skate vert on my vert ramp on my front land that is 8ft high, and ft wide, and 24 foot long :)

i'll be honest, i've never skated vert. but i'd much rather skate street. with street you can skate just about anywhere and there are much more fun things that you can do with street. with vert, you can only skate at places that have half pipes.

i think street is better but i say dont limit urself when u go to a park ull look stupid if u cant drop in on the 3 ft 1/4 to the fly box or somtin. if u go to a park u paid 4 a day so try the minni ramp for a minute i skate all arround because street is awesome but there is nothing like getting air on a true vert ramp

also i think skating on pipes helps with the feel of riding on wood and it makes u better at skatin ur boxes

i like street more cos there r more things 2 try out eg. gaps, handrails etc...

i do like vert but it can get a lil bit boring!!!

street is the most popular skating style right now. in the 70's it was vert though... but i like street because its got more variety! rails, ledges, gaps, stairs, ramps, funboxes... vert has channels, transfers, and spins.

street has more extreme things, like 20 sets, double kinked rails, technical combos(nose manual+kickflip+nosemanual+180 out) and extreme vert skating has transfers and big air.

vert skating is more for perfectionists, and street is for people who like variety. personally, i like street variety

i think street is better because there r so many tricks 2 learn and u dont have 2 go 2 a skatebpark or anythin 2 practice

street is awesome but never limit what you can do try vert 1ce in a while and it will help you like with the feel of going up rams and shit

im a street skater, but i enjoy vert as well. I think street is more vareity though, cause you can do anything you want, wherever you want, on whatever you want. Theres only so much you can do with a pipe. Peace.

I go with both I like to sk8 in street and vert i prefer street when i'm trying new tricks and stuff and i go to vert when i am tired of street so i have a way out always:D
