whats up yall i have been skatin about an hour or 2 a day when it hasnt been snowin or rainin and have been mainly practicin nose slides fs and bs bs tailslides and boardslides and bs lipslides....i have been practicin mainly on this 9 or 10 inch curb and can nose slide and boardslide perfect i get on ride it niiiiice and smooth for about 1 second or about 5 feet....but then when it is time to get off i knda just fall off the board rather than stick a landing how do you turn the board in time to get off.....also i havnt tried to nose slide anything higher than one foot but there are these sick curbs and benches at my college and the are about a foot and a half or more i really wanna sakte em but havnt had a chance there is this bench in my basement that i can standin still jump into nose slide or anything for that matter that is the same height do you think i could do the ones at school...sorry for the length of this message

also how do you always land the trucks on the ledge for 50 50s and nose grinds and such sometimes i can and others i cant and the board goes a flyin and i go a fallin

i have been skating for about 4 or so months now and am pretty good i guess i can do all thebasics cept for kickflips and heelflips which i can spin perfect but my front foot nevewr lands always jsut my back i used to stress about it but now that i have been grinidin and slidin all the stress is gone andt the real fun has begun and i figure i can learn them later am i right

First of all you are not good. You're ok. So am I. Good means switch double heels, switchflip fs board down a double 7 set. Excetra. To get out of noseslides just turn your legs 90 degrees. With boardslides just do the same thing. It takes practice. With grinds just ollie onto the object and look beneath you and try and get the trucks on the curb. This takes a lot of practice at first and it can get frustrating whatever you do don't give up and skate for life. Or even better, skate til you bleed. **** til you bleed skate after you bleed.

i think skating for life outlasts either of the other two.

skate till you break your deck:rolleyes:

oh, i dont know if switch double heels would even get you a board shop sponsor, maybe down a 4step or sumthing.

I didnt say it would get you a board sponsor. I'm just givings some examples. Don't even say that I dont know what skating is about. I honor everybody who loves skating for what it is and will skate in almost any circumstances and doesnt complain.
