Sure thing, when you go off the jump don't lean back. That's the biggest mistake new boarders make. Pull your legs up to your body and ollie off your tail a little bit just at the top of the jump (lip) to get some extra height.
Make sure to spot your landing and again don't lean back to much ;)

Ramprage's right....but the biggest miskate new boarders do is to put their weight too much on the front (because we tell them not to put in on their back)....so just try to stay balanced, and you have to land close to the middle of the landing.

Yea totally true...the worst is when you go big but not big enough and you end up landing short of the landing. Not good on the knees at all.

That has happened to me a few times, hurts like a bitch. Also, make sure if ur spinning in the air. You keep on a vertical axis or else you start to flip. I landed on my neck trying a 3 for the first time. THAT HURT A LOT. I learned my lesson though.

It really depends on days......sometimes I can spin some smooth bs or fs 5 roastbeef (I never tryed a 7 though)....... other times I fall trying a simple tailgrab 3.....it also depends on the tabletop/kicker/big air I wanna jump....if the jump's too big...I won't try anything crazy since I wanna live older than 15 yrs old.......But really...I'm not that good at boarding.....I've been practicing snowboarding for like 8 years or so, but last season was my 2nd trying to do jumps and parks and everything.

i love pulling off that slow 180. Or any slow spins. it helps to do grabs for balancing imho.

back to the topic, i started 2 days ago and have only been out for like 3 hours each day, and when i ollie off the jump and do no grab i always tend to lean to forward, and if i then think about leaning forward i tend to lean more back. I can land 180s most of the time and i can method and indy fine and always land pretty much perfect but if i go off and do nothing i tend to fall, any helpful suggestions?
