I'd rather be sponsered for filming and photos... that would be wicked. I wanna get to know the photo editor of TWS or know the guys at Transworld Media. Lemme see... pay $40 US for a board...... or pay $4000 for a vx2k w/ a death lens..... sponsered for video is my choice!!

i was talking to my dad about the same thing a couple months back and he said( this is from an old pro photographer) that you dont get sponsored, companies hire you, and mikjl29 i dont think century optics hires just anyone now sony on the other hand they probably would, im not making fun of you or anything im just telling you that you dont get sponsored for filming, also what i mean by century optics wont hire anyone go check out the filmers on digiskate message board, most of them have death lens andthey arnt hired by century optics.

Hey punkskater, I never said I would get sponsered by sony or century. A lot of the pro video guys who work at the big name companies (Transworld, Emerica, Birdhouse, Osiris) have the companies pay for a lot of their stuff if it gets broken. I would only be paying for the first set in the beginning but if I started working for them, they would probably pay for a lot of the equipment. I don't ever expect to get sponsered but hell, I can dream can't I?

no no no i didnt think it made sense but what im trying to say is like you dont get sponsored by companys you get hired im not saying you couldnt get hired
