If you are good with computers or know anyone who is, just format your hard drive and then reinstall your windows. this should delete everything on your computer. including the virus. WARNING!! this will delete everything no matter what so make sure to save what you want on a CD or Flash Drive or a portable Hard Drive if you or one of your friends has one.

reinstall your cd's that came with the computer.
it doesnt necessarily delete everything, some files can still be found deep in your c drive.
just dont count on everything you want still being there

i would say take it in to somewhere (maybe like a Circut City, because they teamed up with GeekSquad, or maybe your local computer store if you have one, see what they say). but completely wiping out your entire hard drive should be the LAST resort in trying to get rid of the virus.

yup, that sounds like the blue screen of death, and there is no real solution to it except reformatting and reinstalling windows like everyone else has said...so this post is really pointless besides telling you the name of whats wrong..and why i am still typing i dunno
but good luck

i would definately recommend this in everyway, but just FYI Norton Anti-Virus isnt too cheap (well i remember it being expensive)...just a heads-up.

Whatever you do, dont get any Norton software.

Use AVG. Although thats starting to go the same way as norton.

You could also you something called McAfee Security Center. That should help you clean it up.

so the comp isnt working at all?
if so then the only easy solution is to get a boot disc and redo your comp completely

Whatever you do, don't do that, they are so damn expensive and like barely know how to exit out multiple windows(exaggeration). But seriously, they are a waste, reinstall windows like everyone says. Buy or borrow an anti-virus detector, or program like Spybot, Webroot SpySweeper, etc. I seriously advise you DO NOT get Norton Anti-Virus, everyone I know hates it and I hate it to, slows down your computer a lot.

true on hte slowing down part..
and yeah does cost..a bit of money.

i got mine on sale for 68 bucks...
better then the reg. price thoguh..
and works well..

keeps the B.S. out of the way...
with friends being morons on your computer...you have to keep a 900$ laptop workin good..
