I agree with you, i can't skate in really skinny jeans either, but there are jeans out there that are of normal proportion, which are my personal favorite.

okay, those are a bit excessive...but get the narrower, but still huge-leg jeans, and they're SO comfy. i can't stand tight-ass pants for skating, mine HAVE to be at least somewhat baggy...maybe it's just cuz i started skating when huge pants were "in" then went on hiatus between "huge" and "ballhuggers"

Must've been an American thing, I can safely say since I started skating in 95 I have NEVER seen anyone skate in the those. The only people I've ever seen wear a pair of jeans like that is an excessively homosexual goth kid at my old highschool. Not trying to offend anyone, he was constantly bragging about being gay.

Classic mid 90s styling. I don't know where you live but I'd buy some big baggy jeans and get them tailored to fit you're waist size.

Does it matter? Let him wear whatever and spare us the judgment.

I'm not stopping him. Just passing giving my opinion, and that opinion is that bad fads from more than a decade ago should be left alone. Funny how you picked me, though. Because nearly every other comment was the same as mine.
