i understand his problem because i've had money problems ever since i've started skating...I'm skating a pair of Kmart bearings from my first ever board and my shoes have holes in the bottom of them

but i would say a deck...if youcan't skate without it than I'm sure you can wear out some old shoes or somthing...sktebaording is essential...not the latest pair of vans

Get a deck and if you have like 3 or 4 bucks layin around after that head out to Wal Mart and buy some shoe goo then you're set.

I got the same problem. Only thing is I need shoes, a deck, and more money to go skate NYC. I think you should get some shoes and ask alot of people if they have a extra deck you could have to hold you off untill you get money for a new deck.

I got paid today. Cha ching. Fresh deck in less than 30 minutes after receiving my pay check. haha, i needed a deck tho. I always get what i need at the moment.

Yea man everyone knows you should get the fresh new dcs i mean if you get the deck sure u can skate but... yea you gotta always look like a skater at school so everyone knows so i would have to go withhh shoes. lol jk but get whatever you need morel like if you have old screwed up shoes that are usable use them or if u have an old deck with decent griptape use that or re tape it.
