I used to do crap like that in Canada but we had snow and some GT snowracers. We would build some huge jumps and fight eachother while going down the hill. My best trick was a superman while on a GT snowracer.

We used to do that too, with those little circle saucers, we'd haul ass and jump on them and slide into thorns and shit. It sucked when you threw it down and you just stopped dead.

make that hill twice as steep, all wet and muddy, and at school, and you will imagine the hill i slide down every day during PE :D i did it on a piece of cardboard, in a barrel someone ditched, and on a friend :p hahahaha!

I once met a brit snowboarder online - she had to travel here (Canada) and to the alps - cool holidyas but I can go to to the mountains for the day anytime. for you it is good cause you can skate most any day. We have 6in of new snow today here!
