Hey guys im heading up to Los angeles for a couple of days and since the parks around here aren't anything speacial I wanted to hit one up there. Do any of you guys know the names of any parks or skate plazas in Los angeles?

What part of LA will you be staying in ? There's tons of good parks here.

I dunno if it helps but my hotel is near the airport like LAX airport if that makes sense.

There's several pretty close.

Hawthorne Skatepark, 5 minutes from the airport on Inglewwod Blvd. just below Imperial Hwy.

The Cove Skatepark in Santa Monica at 14th and Olympic.

The Culver City Skatepark is pretty close on Jefferson Blvd. and Dusquane.

There's a pretty fun little park in Hermosa Beach right up the street from the pier on Pacific Coast Hwy.

Those are all anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes from the airport.

ok thanks I think I'll hit up hawthorne looks like it has some good street stuff is there a fee? do you need pads? also are there skateshops near the airport? sorry for all the questions

Dude just Skate LA in general you should be able to find some good spots just about everywhere you look, it's freaking LA, it's freaking California (Man I love it up here)

No fee and no pads required at Hawthorne. All it's good for is street, some pretty good stuff there but the tranny blows. Your gonna be real close so it's a good choice. Get some pics !
