i see so many people use WI snowboards but i never tried them. i prefer to companies that just make snowboards or snow related equipment like burton, forum, k2, etc.

I think this thread should be in the "REVIEWS" section, but oh well...World Industries ANYTHING pretty much sucks in my mind...so I wouldn't try it, I'd stick with companies that make snowboards their specialty (Burton, ect.)

If you want a better board than a lamar, you could try a K2, GNU, Forum, Salomon or maybe a Burton.

haha sorry to inform you buddy, but k2 is a rollerblade company. oh yeah and mountain bikes. so if your saying you like companies that only make snowboard stuff, then you shouldnt like k2.

k2 is also a ski company, which i think is where they started. i wouldnt buy a snowboard by a company that makes skis, i dont know, i just wouldnt trust 'em. my friend has a world industries, and its really really soft. its holding up, but it seems like it could snap at any moment. i dont know though, he really likes it, but i just wouldnt trust such a huge corporation. i mean, you could have ALL w.i. stuff, for skateboarding and snowboarding, its kinda gay

K2 originally started as a ski company... K2 is the name of a mountain right near everest. Eventually they evolved into snowboarding and then inline skating. They make high quality snowboards, boots, bindings and clothing.
They have new models of every year and are constantly improving their products. That is why I trust them. I just spent a week on their new 162 Zepplin model and its the best snowboard I have had yet.

k2 sucks. they should stick to fruitboots and skis and stay out of the world of snowboarding. and take their little subcompany ride with them
