Welcome to TrAnCe's how to dismantle then undismantle your bearings, cleaning them in between! This thread will teach you how to clean your bearings without exposing them to harsh chemicals.

Ingredients;
1 tissue box (in case you turn emo)
1 plate (in case you get hungry)
1 pin (because your girlfriend aint happy with yours)
1 cotton bud (to clean her filthy minge with)
Method
1. take those rollers outta your wheels
2. use a pin to pry the covers off, then push the ball cage out the other side.
3. roll all the balls to one side (eww, 7 balls are touching) then pull the middle ring out, making sure the balls fall into a plate.
4. if you're smart, all the balls wont have gone all over the floor. if they have, click here (http://www.terminally-incoherent.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/facepalm.jpg)
5. Find the balls; you should have;
*an outside ring,
*an inside ring,
* 7 balls (woah!)
*ball cage
*shield/cover
now its time to clean
6. use a tissue to clean everything. since some people have low IQ's, I'll tell you the most important parts to clean;
*inside of the outside ring
*outside of the inside ring
*all the balls (dont rub them, you literally have to scrape the dirt off)
*back of the cover where dirt gets thrown onto
* outside and inside of the ball cage
* grooves of the ball cage (use the cotton bud to help you with this)
7. now if you're still alive after reading this, I have PICTURES to help you put these bearings back together. follow them exactly.

As you can see in the last picture, mr bearing is happy you've cleaned his arse. after all those stairs you jump down and hills you bomb, you've finally shown him some appreciation.
8. put one drop of oil on the back and spin the bearing a bit so the oil gets right in there.
9. more cleaning, yay! 4 steps only
*use the tissue and rub it up and down your axle, as dirt from that thing can get into your bearing. theres always lots on the threads (funny coz it's usually covered by the nut??!!??)
*clean the dust on your speed rings
*clean the back of the nut
*clean the wheel wells
10. see if you can beat my record for putting 8 bearings into 4 wheels and the nuts on all 4 wheels. my record is 32 seconds. pfft. I bet you could beat that.
11. go bomb the biggest hill you know to get your bearings broke in again.
