Every year my family, or myself and my dad with some friends go out west to the rockies and go skiiing, but I've been boarding since I was 9. The past two years I really haven't cared about renting, since I outgrew my old board, but this year my dad said I could get a new board and bindings, etc. Since I don't snowboard as much as you guys like Spencer and stuff, I'd like some suggestions on some boards.

Besides that, I love these trips. Gonna try and learn some new tricks this year :)

dude get a M3, forum, or burton. if u go with burton get the "dominant slick" board. it edges are raised to almost completely eliminate hangups on rails. god i wish i wouldve gotten that board. hang ups suck ***hole.

PS- if i were u, id stay away from K2. they are a ski company who should stick to skiing and blading. they also own the company Ride so stay away from thos

K2's are amazing. My Zepplin is great and the edges on it are better than any I have ever had. Some people sideslip and carefully go over ice patches, hell, I carve right through the ice. It has extra carbon inserts in the tail and nose for a shitload of pop off of just about anything and the flex is great. If I were going to suggest something to stay away from, it would be Nidecker, Solomon, or Lamar.

It depends if you plan snowboarding a lot or just one week a year. If it's not that often (once a year), I suggest K2 or Option, since they're good quality boards and not that expensive. I've had a K2 spitfire wide for like 3 years now, and it still kicks my friend's brand new Forum. If it's a long term board and you're willing to put money on it, go for M3 or Burton.

It's just a week, once or twice every year. Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll look 'em up.
