Is this a trick? My cousins friend told me it was but didn't tell me the name-
you stand flat with your left foot on your board and your right foot under the board then you jump and the board flips and you land it...

fakie underflip? fakie is when your going backwards, this rick your not even moving.
new school kickflip? i think you mean old school kickflip, this is what everyone at my school calls it. my friend is wicked at standing with both feet under the middle of the board and then he jumps and flips it over and lands. i cant do it as well, and i can barely ever land it:eek:

Ok i said I called it a FAKE not fakie underflip because you dont ollie first or what ever and I also call it a old school new school kickflip not old school kickflip mostly because me and my friends were at my others friends house and he has a old school deck and newer old school deck and a new school deck. Thus the name old school new school. The old school new school deck looks morwe like a new school deck but is not quite there yet.

Usually I will refrain from this type of stuff but:
WHAT THE HELL.
Old school, and New school, are descriptions of styles of tricks, not decks....thus there IS NO 'New school deck'. If I used an 'old school' deck...to do a kickflip noseslide..that's not an 'old school new school kickflip noseslide'..to be honest, that sounds totally gay.
There shouldn't be ANYONE saying 'old school new school' in the same sentence, it also sounds gay. It IS an old school kickflip, it's simple. For all it matters, you can use a piece of plywood with rollerblade wheels to do it, and It's STILL an old school kickflip. The term old school is used, because it's an 'old style' trick...not because it was done on old decks. There is no 'new decks'. Skateboarding is not black and white..there is no new and old...there is older...and newer.
Chainlink is 100% right in what he said....just for the record.
Question for you all who think there is 'old school new school' tricks. If I use an old board, do a new trick mixed with an old trick, does that make it a 'Old school new school old school kickflip no comply' ? Thought so....rock on chainlink.

Super AM, the only thing out of hand, is how people are closing topics. There is no arguing..it's discussing. No one has taken anything personal, it's simply discussing the differences between decks.
Chekos' - Exactly. The point is, if you USE an old school deck, to do a 'new' trick, that doesn't make it an 'old school new school' trick.
