First of all, this is totally illegal so you shouldnt even post it on here but I will post for people to learn. The problem with PS2 games is that they are stored on DVDs. As many people know, DVDs hold about 4.7 gigs of data. So if someone were to by some means rip a PS2 game, the file would be around 4.7 ggs in size. Even if this is compressed, you are still looking at 4.5 gigs in size. Transfering this over the web is close to impossible and could take days even with Broadband.
Now, if through some magical means you manage to get the 4 gig file onto your computer, you will need to be able to burn this onto a DVD because the ps2 games are all DVD's, not normal cds. This would now require a DVD-ROM burner.
Now, if you are even this far, there is always the question of if your process worked. Remember, sony encrypts all of the games too. So you might be looking at the need for some sort of mod chip. This is also going to be hard to find and may not work for all games.
If you have managed to do all of the above, congratulations, it probably would have been easier, more time efficient, and less stressful to just go to the store and pay the damn money for the game.

Option #2: Take all the time you've wasted trying to figure out how to hack DVD games, find a job and pay for the games....those developpers didnt work for nothing, and if you want them to make other games, you better pay them.

Ben, you seem to have misread my whole post. The games are most likely encrypted when they get on your computer. So even managing to get all of the files could be a task. Then, you need to invest in a DVD Burner, and then you need to invest in blank DVDs, those are close to $10 a piece. So say you mess one up and it doesnt work.... there goes $10 you could have just spent on the game. Trust me, its not worth it. Oh ya, I dont even own a PS2. LOL

it's not worth the trouble looking for warez and roms. you might as well get a job and buy them yourself. trust me, it's a whole lot easier and you don't run the risk of someone disguising a trojan horse virus or worm as a rom you download.
