Well i've been playing a lot of Half-Life and HL mods such as Counter-Strike and TFC, i was wondering how many here play it and are you in a clan and other comments about the game?

I started playing HL when it came out in '98, then in '99 I started playing CS (about 2 months after it came out). I'm still playing CS and sometimes the old HL deathmatch. I personally think HL was the best game ever for many reasons.

I co-founded a clan with a friend of mine back in september. It's called mvp (for montreal veteran players), we didnt register to the last cal season, but we did for this one (won the preseason 22-2), and we're ranked 1st on a provincial league.

i used to play half life a LOT before i started skating. my fav mod was tfc, and as a sniper i'd get scores of up to 50/5 in short matches depending on who i was playing against. i'm still a good sniper. so good that everybody thinks i use aiming hacks but i don't.

CS is awesome. it rocks me...hard. and i'm getting it soon. cause i havent played it in a long while and that game is fun.

I've never really gotten into CS -
I was always more of a Quake guy myself - Quake 2 was sick!

Although I'd like to try CS again or Battle Field 1942.

Half life is well good. Quake is good aswell

duke3d + 14.4k modem + other guy's number = OMG ONE OF THE FIRST MULTIPLAYER FPS AND IT ROCKED!!!

you need hl on ur pc to play cs, right?

No, you can buy CS retail version, it originaly was a HL mod, but they decided to sell it by itself so you can play even without HL. HL is a great game in singleplayer though.

Oh and btw, I just read that Half-Life 2 is announced for september 30th 2003, but since Valve is allways late (kof kof TF2), It probably wont be out before next year.

Yeah, Day of defeat is coming out retail in acouple days. Its v1.0, you can download it if you have hl at dayofdefeat.com . But im geting when its out retail, Theres no way im dling 173 megs.. oh yeah, it went gold!

Oh, yeah, im a big fan of Hl, TFC, CS, DoD, Opera and the such.
