are there any balance tricks i should learn first? like in sk8boardin u learn 2 manual/tic tac before ollie are there any mini tricks u learn before bunnyhop?

not really, bunny hop is really the first trick...you can dirt jump some small stuff before then just to get the feel of pulling up if there are any jumps near you.

you can try like, catwalks and stuff like that if you want.

Like skating it takes time to learn bike control...

My main sport is BMX its Skate & Snow but I like BMX, these are the tricks I learned before the bunnyhop.

First I learned to manual, then nose manual, then I learn to stand on the back pegs and stand up and ride with no hands :D, then i learned to pull up on a still manual and just balance and do 360's. Then I learned to bunnyhop and do turndowns. :D

To do one you have to have goo front brakes and pushthen while balancing let go of the brakes slowly and try to keep balancing and you wilkeep riding! if yougo fast enogh down a hill it kcs ass!:p

before learning to bunnyhop get comfortable with doing a manual for a short distance (manual is not pedaling) just get sum speed first and then pull back, it is important to get low over the back tyre for this. Also if u cud get into the trials side of things then learning to trackstand is pretty important as well as a must for learning to side hop. To trackstand slowly bring the bike to a stop and put on the back brake. Turn the bars to one side, away from your strongest foot, and gently rock the bike forwards and back while feathering the brake. Hope this is sum help.

i had a freind who tought he could go offffffff jumps byeeeeee just ridin offfff it so he goess headddd first into the dirt :) lol
