man ice is a bitch.... i went today and most of the hill was ice... you couldnt do any jump cuz u'd die if u fell.... i wiped once bad... it killed!

Yeah, the ice sucks. When you go over it you have no f**kin control. The ice hurts like hell too.

Ice is every boarder's worst enemy. Sometimes you just can't avoid it and it hurts bad! :mad:

Eastern Canada is the worst for that, the conditions down here make all the pipes giant ice blocks, especially park landings!

But the only thing lamer than ice is skiers...yesterday, I was at the bottom of the slope finishing a carve, when some idiot 7yrs old skier went right on me, and he had a hemet...a hard helmet. The crappy thing is that it was the only day I was not wearing mine, so I was wearing a hat and I had sunglasses. When the guy hit me, I was knocked out (he hit me on the right side of my head, next to my eye). I was only seeing black, then I fell, closed my eyes, waited like 5 seconds, opened them and everything was sooooo ****ing bright with black spots everywhere. I didn't remember shit where I was or what the hell I was doing there. The I saw I was on a board, so I unstrapped my bindings and got up with a big headache. Then I remembered, I got it by something....but I didn't know what did hurt me. When I got up, i saw like 20 ppl around me saying like "are you okay", "shit man.....it'll be okay???"...and another group of persons were around a little boy that was just crying because his ski googles were broken. i watched my friend and he said like...."man, you're bleeding", I touched the right side of my face it was all full of blood. His father is a doctor so he brought me to a clinic close to there and I got 4 stiches because when the guy hit me, he broke my sunglasses, and some part of it penetrated in the skin about 1 inch next to my eye. I was damn lucky not to lose it, though.

So that's it, since the symptoms were temporary lost of counciousness and memory (bout 15 seconds) and the power of the it, I got a brain concussion and can't board for 2 weeks :(
