ok how many people here hate the rain? i just started skateing today and was about to boardslide my b-ball goal and it ****ing started raining on me like crazy and it also started hailing ahhhhh i hate the rain!!!!!!

i quite like the rain. it's fun. go jump in some puddles. get a skimboard and skimboard puddles. or get an old deck and pretend it's a skimboard. i've done it before it's wicked fun...but hail on the other hand. sucks cause when it hits you it hurts.

i hate rain too. yesterday i went skating and tried to hit a long three stair-sidewalk-curb gap and the board washed out from under me. it wasn't that bad, the only thing was, it was thunderstorming earlier that day and then the sun came out, so the pavement was dry but there were still big puddles. anyway, my board shoots out from under me and rolls right through a deep puddle. i tried to dry it off as quick as i could. i just hope that it doesn't affect the snappyness of my almost brand new board...

I hate it. We had a "gustnado". It's some hybrid storm or some shit combined with huge justs and tornados. It rains a lot, so I can't always skate. But when it does, it's always a good time to smoke up or call my girl over, or both. So I don't mind it too terribly much.

Anyway I love skating under the rain I love it, I like to get all wet and stuff, yeah I'm a lucking bastard that gets free stuff, I'm kinda in "a flow" team yet I'm not but I still get free stuff. Anyway rain is awesome I like it when I skate or when I don't want to do a single thing and used to call my g/f which moved away... and stuff.

The rain is alright by me! we're in a drought and i had the stupid water limitation rules. i can't take 45 min showers like normal when that's going on... but we got like 3 inches of rain when a storm came through the other night.. so it's up to like 14.35 inches since jan.1st! yay! i hope no more drought... but now it's like 105 degrees all the time.. skating and soccer and softball are killin me! sunburn! ouch!

yeah it's a desert climate here too, i like skateboarding in rain cause it cool me down, an on sunny days u can see steam coming off me which looks pretty cool. but i LOVE snowboarding in hail cause everyone on this island is like shit scared of rain, not to mention hail so whenever it hails i get the whole slope to myself. there even was a french reporter there that day an he took photos of me so u might see my wet white *** in GEO magazine in the september issue. and yes i know this is the skateboard section but since my brightest rain/hail memories have to do with snowboarding an this thread is about it i thought i'd just stick it here

a lil off topic but.....snowboarding in the rain is awesome! the snow is all fun and slushy, and the mountains are usually pretty bare. i went earlier this year wehn it was raingin once or twice and the mountain gave out plastic poncho thingies. and when you fall and land on your back you sliiiiide, really far and uncontrollably and it's awesome fun.

most water in homes is put through filters and crap like that. rain just get evaporated and then comes down.

an twiztid, beleive me u would cause i haven't met a girl yet who hasn't liked my hair.......the only down point is they start putting their hands thru it an that reminds me of what monkeys do which kinda is a turn off at least for me even though i enjoy it

dude, rain is sick. just not for skating. w/o rain, you would have a drought and it'd be wayy to hot/dry out to skate. raain is awesome to go and play in. jump in the puddles and stuff. it's just fun. just dont skate in it. der.
