Broken Deck

i just snapped the nose of my Vallely. here's the looks of it. all i was doing was ollieing, and apparently landed with too much of my weight just infront of the bolts.

That sucks ball on a stick of shit. Yup, that happened to me once when I tried to 360 flip down 6 stairs, it was cool. Anyway right now I'm in an a sutuation that sucks cause I got 4 free deck laying around my room cause my skateshop sent me a pack of 10 deck and stuff, but I ****ed up my ankle and I can't skate for a while so blah!

yeah it does suck even more that i didnt mail in the warranty cause i lost it. i took a second look at it earlier today, and i realized it shouldn't have snapped like that, and that the bottom plies came apart and didnt break.

and i got a new dewck today. it's a Black Label- Six Gun- Adams-Punk. it's a sick board. it's got a pointed nose and it gets wider in the middle to the nose. here's a pic.

Hey man, I've got a solution for you! that deck is like 5 ply man, so how about get a 7 ply or sumert - cos they are stronger obviously,:D

at my local skateshop...i dont buy decks online cause you never know what you're gunna get, like for concave and shap and stuff like that

yea i had a blacklabel that was very very nice, i liked it alot, but its old now so i don't skate it....how long did your vallely deck last? Oh yea, if you ever need a deck that is gonna last you a long time and it is a fact that it will , get a Zero, i recomend those if you are tight on money..they stay stiff and take a long time to break, and if you weigh alot like me they can still hold up alot of weight

my vallely should have lasted a long time. it shouldn't have snapped like that. it was something wrong with the glue-ing of the plys or something. and the only reason i didnt send it back was cause i frgot to send tha warranty in.

a 5 ply deck is not a proper deck... its a known standard that skateboards should be made from 7 layers and maple wood.
