Well, this is just a post about a video, kinda of a review but I'm not gonna explain detaily what the **** is up with that video, also this post should be in the trick tip forum, but I'm recomending this to all those crazy ****s that can't skate (I'm so in that cathegory)!
Well, this video is a trick tip video, but it's not like those Tony Hawk, or transworld video where they show a picture of how your feet should be on the board. This video just explains you how to do a trick and they show the same trick like 10 times and they give a detalied explanation of the trick. The video pretty much consists on the purpose of giving youe a brief idea on how to do the trick. The video is pretty good cause it somehow pumps you up to learn how to skate.
Well the video is explained by some pro skater there are some I don't recognize so I'll just list the ones I know:
Brian Summer
Willy Santos
Tom Green(DVD Bonus)
Bam Margera
That's about all the skaters I know about that explain the trick I forgot like 2 of the ones I know but who cares? Well The video includes a brief explanations of the following tricks(If a trick has a b/s and f/s way they explain that too):
Ollie( 180's too)
Kickflips
B/s & F/s kickflips and Heelflip
360 flips
Heelflip
Boardslide
Lipslide
Krooked Grind
Salad Grind
50-50 & 5-0s
360 Ollies
Those are some of the tricks they show on that video. Well I bought that DVD last weeks as a gift for a friend that just started skating and I was like, dude that is a kick *** video(I want a copy for myself) the video itself is pretty cool. The editing is awesome it has great music and it's fun to watch.
So if you are a skater that just began skateboarding and want to get a trick tip video, you should get "The Tao of Skateboarding" because it shows a lot of tricks in one volume and usually those other trick tips videos only show like 15 or so and they are around 3 volumes.
So yeah you should check it out or try to download it if you are cheap
