Heavy Metal?

Hey everyone, I'm new to the board. I love all types of extreme sports but especially love snowboarding. I'm also a big heavy metal fan. Anyone else out there like heavy metal? I've been listening a lot to this new group that my friend turned me on to called Twisted Method. They're going to be performing at ozzfest this year which should be reallyl exciting because I heard they do a kick *** live show. I was thinking that Twisted Method would be really good on some short snowboarding videos. If you havent heard them I recomend you check them out cause they rock. i also love snowboarding most but i enjoy stuff like numetal (E.G. system of a down) more than traditional metal

and does anybody know why numetal kids go to hardcore shows?...it's annoying and weird to see all these kids in slipknot shirts at hardcore shows...i dont have anything against slipknot or anything. but it's kinda weird seeing numetal kids at hardcore shows.

The thing about audioslave is that their basists (or guitarist) is Rage's one, and their singer is soundgarden's singer....so that's what make their sound newer but still old school sound.

hey, numetal people like live music too u know, live shows RULE, but there are other people like me, who like both, but would prefer numetal cause it's a bit more..............hmmmm.............nu? an anyway, i wouldn't call slipknot new, they just bash around on their guitars an drum, i mean, they have THREE drummers of which only one does somit useful in the song, the other one just around an picks his brains an the third one's always jacking his long nose off

actually slayers song raining blood is number ten off their cd reign IN blood, and ive never heard that song on vice city?

yes, but only one that actually got thru to the international rock scene, an anyway, rammstein isn't hardcore, it's industrial rock. by the way, i know this girl who's had dinner with them when they came to st. petersburg

would you guys consider static X metal? Cuz they got some heavy songs they just have like a sort of technoish thing to them.. they are wierd, no one talks about them. well, yeah I enjoy all types of rock, but heavy and fast paced punk gets me moving most, thats why I incourage people to check out Death by Stereo.. whatever, what do i care, later
