I did my 1st heelflip!!!

Hey, today I did my first heelflip. It was only like 2 inches off the ground, but at least it's progress. It's funny, I can heelflip, kickflip, varial kickflip, but I can't do a FS shove-it. Weird huh.

First off, if you cannot land it..no matter WHAT your problem is....get your confidence up. Take a break for a day or so off heelflips..don't even think about them. One day, say..."I'm gonna go outside for 5 mins and just try a heelflip real quick". Go out there, and do it like you KNOW you'll land it. Don't think 'I need to land my front/rear foot on', Just think you'll land it. Chances are that one won't be great, but it will be good. Now, just do the same thing again. The main things I point out..are:

1) Pop
2) Jump and kick your front foot directly in front of you, like you're karate kicking a guy in the sack. This naturally makes you slide your foot.
3) When you bend down...bend with your LEGS, not your back. Try to bend with your legs....while keeping your back straight. Next.....I made a page, that you can check out if you want more help (there's pics)..
