Has anyone played this game for just regular Playstation? I think this game is so much fun when you are bored and need something to do. It's kind of hard to figure the game out at first but after a while you get the hang of it.

yes it is a lot of fun a lot more fun when u beat it and get the ninja stealth

Dude how do you get the ninja stealth? You have to beat the game saving meryl or not saving her? Because I saved her and I got nothing.

don't save meryl then otacon will show up at the end and give u his ninja stealth and after the ending when ur asked if u want to save your game, save, then when u restart u should have the stealth

Hey! I am the master of All Metal Gear Solid Games. No matter what Format the game rulez. I think the story lines are cool and for the console Metal Gear Solid 1 Rocks! Sons Of Liberty just gets better and now Substance and maybe a new Jungle style Metal Gear Solid!

Come on guyz! This genre of Gaming is way too cool!

Hey! If you save Mryll you get a Bandanna that she gives you at the end. This gives unlimited Ammo upon wearing it. When you don't save her otacon gives you the Stealth!

That's just straight out gay though I mean I worked hard to save Meryl thinking there would be a better ending but no it kinda sucked and now I got this gay *** bandana thing which only makes the game easier to beat when I already beat it. I shouldn't have saved her pathetic ***.

Theres a new Metal Gear Solid game that iz guna come out. You are Solid Snake but In the Jungle! It's taking on a Rambo theme. Here you have to kill things to eat and stuff. They're making it even more realistic!

The only trouble wid the Second one is that I think ti is just a modifoied version of the first. It basically has the same story line and the Same characters. I think that Substance for MGS2 is totally awesome cos you can play as Solid Snake all the way through.

I think the Metal Gear Solid Games are unbeatable and Splinter Cell has tried to beat it but failed.

metal gear solid is probably my favorite game of all time. right along with zelda: ocarina of time.
i beat it like 6 times. truly a masterpiece.

I loved Metal Gear Solid...i played it a whole bunch. I completed it at least 4 times. Its a true classic.

I loved the 2nd too.

Can't wait for the 3rd!

There was a film that was based on the original book, and the game is also based on the book, but its got the main character called 'Snake Pliskin' (mix of 1st game 'n' 2nd geddit?) and the military commander in da film has EXACTLY the same voice as 'colonel' in the 2nd game (S.O.L)

PSX is the new Model for PS1 its way smaller not as boxy. its not much bigger then a GBA.
