i just got kicked off my ****ing own street. to make it worse they have cameras in there cars. to make it worse worse.i got caught for skating thursday. to make it worse worse worse the cop before said if i ever see your face in one of the cameras or i catch you im sending you a ticket. ive never gotten a ticket before and now i will im am so ****ing pissed! its in front of my ****ing house for gods ****ing sake. **** ****. o i forgot it was by a cop

dude...take it to court. if they unjustly kicked you off of skating YOUR OWN street, take the ticket to court if you get one. and it's weird how you said "i got caught for skating thursday", like it's something bad or illegal, like killing someone or shooting up smack. it's not. it's not illegal unless there are "no skating" signs. or unless there's a helmet law were you live and you didnt have a helmet on.

and did the cops just tell you to leave? or did they like forcibly kick you out of where you were skating?

step up, man. ask the cop to show you where in your town charter or lawbook or whatever where it says that skateboarding isnt allowed on city property, cuz thats what streets are. plusa, find out exactly where your property boundries are, and skate there until he comes around. hopefully, he'll try to ticket yoiu, then whip out the property plans shit and be like "im on my own god damn property, you cant do jack squat!!!!"

skateboarding in my town seems more illegal then drugs. and my town has a HUGE i mean huge problem with heroin. and it says no skateboarding in thelawbooks but theres not one sign in my town. so if i do get a ticket im taking it to court andsince the cops dont show up ill win :)

If it's city ordinance that there is no skateboarding, then that means everywhere within the city boundries it's illegal. Whether there is a "No Skateboarding" sign or they give you permission to skate there, it doesn't matter. It's still illegal. Same goes with my city.

it was illegal to skate in this city next to chicago... evanston is awesome to skate but its illegal. Chicago is a slightly different story. Its not illiegal but the cops come runnin cuz they hate us.

Actually, I did skateboard @ evanston. It's fun until they called the cops on us. Skokie which is not so far from Chicago is another killer skatepark.

oh man media, i live in pittsburgh too, and the 2 like famous spots in pittsburgh, marble park, and mellon square. Well one day me and my friends decided to take a little trip there, the day we went, some cop comes up to us and says there was a meeting on it today and theres no mre skatin allowed in mellon and marble, sucks for us and the pitt scene
