I have broke 4 boards in the last month and a half im getting mad but they were all blanks. Is that the reason why? Are Pro Decks stronger?

i think its becuase i like to skate rails a lot, but my board shouldn't be braking like every 2 or 3 weeks. I mean ive only been skating for a little over 4 months.

Skate element.:D What tricks can you do? And do what public enemy said. It lessens the stress and keeps the board from sagging alot.

i dont know how you are breaking decks on handrails, unless your ollieing 1 foot over the rail and slamming down on it. all boards have there strong points and weak points, just land on the hardware and your all good to go, i suggest getting some shock pads. i go through 3 decks a month but i get them for free and i also hit pretty big drops.

If you skate a deck hard in its early stages i.e. within the first couple of days, then it weakens it quite a lot. If you've been doing that then you should wear in your decks first, then try stuff. It kinda makes the wood more resiliant to the pressure. Just start of like popping easy stuff until the board is at that really nice stage... then go big.

plus landing on the bolts helps :)

dude, that doesnt seem right. at all. first off. you shouldnt skate a deck that hard at all like the first week or two you get it, nevermind breaking it. and the only reason i can think that you're breaking your board on handrails is you're landing too hard on your board after you get on the rail. like doing boardslides, if you land on the bolt, but land too hard, you can crack your deck.

and if you dont weight that much (ex:too much=like 200 pounds'ish). then you're gettin screwed over on them blank decks.

exacly decks shouldn't brack that easy unless your landing on them wrong

it could be that boards are pretty brittle when you get then so they are quite 'vunerable' for a short period, and as he comes down onto the rail to boardslide it, the board is having to much pressure exerted onto it when they are still brittle and hey just crack under strain

the only diff between blanks and pros is price and graphic. myabe ur getting shitty blanks tho, try a mini logo from powell. but then again, all decks are really the same, mostly

ok, this is the low down. pro decks have different shape, tail is smaller or bigger, nose is smaller or bigger, all blank decks are made the same, one mold, right off the press, trust me ive seen decks made before. pro decks usually have a nice finish to them so they slide smooth for a few days.

um, so, blanks are what pro decks look like before they put a graphic on. i bet you, scrape off the graphic, and there should be a colored layer, thats what the balnk decks are,and they ussally have some name imprinted on it, like mini-logo. trust ME dude, my uncle terry works at powell. dam,n dastard cant (or wont) get me any free decks. but dude, its just the graphic thats different.

er......get a blank again and skate it a bit first not doing rails so it can get some flex in it.

get a bulletproof deck, in the uk they're £100 but they're carbon fibre and guaranteed for 1 year against snapping
