alright, i dont know why but im scared to ollie up curbs. I can ollie high enough to get up a curb and I go fast enough to get up one, but im scared to try it. just so you know, i am 11.
i thought of taping a piece of paper to the ground and trying to ollie over that. do you think that would help me? what did you guys do that helped you learn to ollie up a curb?

Hah, nice one craig. Seriously, im cracking up... hah. hah.
Craig, you used to post replies and threads with a MEANING. What happened? Now all I see you making is snide remarks and trying to be funny. Who are you trying to impress? You hardly even know these people. It's a INTERNET site, for pete's sake. Sure, maybe you have a few friends on this site. Are you trying to impress them? If you are, it sure looks like it isnt working.

The tape thing may work, it would help you get your timing right. Thats pretty much how I learned it. Oh yeah a common thing that happens when people learn to ollie onto curbs is they lean to far backwards and shoot out. Remeber to keep everything stable and leaning forward.

focus. and go for it. you need confidence in this sport. confidence plays a large part of this sport. you gotta believe you can do it./ and then go for it. also make sure you can ollie high enough to get on the curb and make sure you're going fast enough to get all your board up there.

this forum is starting to suck cause no one gets help. Ok dude, pros ollie onto and off of huge stuff right? So YOU can ollie onto and off of a curb and throw a kickflip in. Oh yeah, my friend used bricks and built a wall as high as his box to ollie onto it and it worked. Cause bricks collapse and even if you dont clear it u can usually ride away.

^^ too right, its just become all fighting and shit like that....... just go for it, a curb isnt very high and so you've just gotta focus and tell yourself that you can do and then you should be able to do it
