Ollie while riding

Well here my problem. I can ollie standing still pretty high (enough to get on a curb) but when i try to ollie while i ride it doesnt pop and the board just turns like 90 degrees :( can anyone help me? what am i doing wrong

hmm... i had that problem too. just practice, itll come. no1 helped me out. just practice.

it has to do with foot placement, i think. keep your front foot straight, you'll ollie straight and higher.

i had a similar problem... make sure your foot position is right.. balls of both feet on the middle of the board. Then while you're riding, just ollie like you normally would. Also, make sure you keep your shoulders parallel to the length of the board. Anything wrong there and you'll start spinning.

this is me it may not be ur problem but wen i first started i wuz scared to move and ollie im not saying thats u but i just kept tryin and it cam

i got it now, moving ollies, but im still not getting my tail up enough to get up onto high curbs. but what u have to do is just practice the timing. i was dragging my front foot up too early, now i got it a little better

you gotta be like 'ahh screw it! i'm not gonna get hurt' ... i figure your just a wee bit scared of like gettin hurt.. anyways.. just do what you normally do, forget that you're moving.. just ollie. :D

Is it just me, or is doing an ollie easier to do while moving now? I get nervous when I ollie standing still. I guess it's cause when you're moving, you expect to roll when you land. I think it's just me though.
