iunno, alot of those bands are good, but not the best. --

beatles, nirvana, sublime, pink floyd

those bands were the first, and best, in their genres. sublime, you cant even really cl***ify them, theyre so original. maybe floyd wasnt the first, but theyre just about the greatest psycadelic band ever. nirvana was the first good grunge bamd, and easily the best band of the early 90's. the beatles pionered rock and roll in america

mmmm...you're wrong twice here young man...Nirvana isnt the first good grunge band (mudhonney...etc....), and The Beatles came after Elvis....

i dont consider elvis rock n roll. mudhoney is good yeah, but nirvana made grunge popular. thats good, and bad too i guess. you veer heard of the screaming trees? theyre good too

Yeah, but beatles were like the first "band" and elvis was great and all, but beatles changed the course of rock and roll, elvis just started/invented it. But yeah, beatles, led zeppelin, nirvania, ozzy, kiss, metallica, pink floyd, all good bands that contributed to the growth of rock.
