Ok, I *think* I'm right... but my friends and I are having somewhat of a conflict over what a Semi Flip and a Hardflip are. As far as I know, a Hardflip is a tweaked Inward Kickflip, and a Semi Flip is just an Inward Kickflip, am I right, or a total dumb***?

a hardflip is just an inward kickflip u don't have to tweak it or anything. i've seen people do them and they look the exact opposite of a varial kickflip, hardflips just come almost straight when pros like chris markovich pop them so ****ing hard.i can't remember what a semi flip is but i used to know but its not an inward kickflip.

I'd say you're right. I'm not totally sure on semi-flips, I think they're just inward kickflips though.

A hardflip IS an inward kickflip, but just only called a hardflip (there is no such thing as an inward kickflip). Quoting someone (I think aronsamma, somewhat) "A hardflip is spun like a f/s shuv-it but looks like it flips vertical the more pop it is given. that's why it looks vertical when flipped over gaps, because a lot of pop is needed." Or something along the likes of that. There's a huge thread on ramprage somewhere where the same question was asked but i can't remember where it is.
As for a semi-flip, it's kinda hard to explain, but it's basically a varial heelflip flipped only with the back foot. It's about 1/4 of a kickflip, then you flip the var. heelflip (the 1/4 kick is to have someway to be able to flip is f/s and heelflip and the same time with the back foot) Look here: http://www.ramprage.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=3847&highlight=semi

If the link doesn't work, look in the gallery for a thread called "semi flip." It was started by aronsamma and he explains it and has a sequence of Mullen doing one.

it doesnt matter how hardflips are flipped as long as its a f/s shuv mixed with a kickflip. it can be horizontal to the ground like tony hawk's in trick tips 2 or more vert. just pointing that out.

a guys? inward heelflips are infront of you. so that would be the same with a kickflip. a hardflip is a fs varial kickflip
