Ive got my pop shove its down better than anyone I know...maybe 3 stack high. Ive done them down ledges and a couple of small gaps and figured I should try some stairs. I went to a five stair in my neighborhood and tried the pop shove it tons of times. But I kept having the same problem. I would pop the shove it up like regular, but the board would come up way to high. When it finished spinning and it was time for me to put my feet down they were below the board, one right below the nose and one right below the tail. I couldnt get my feet over the board they were always up under it. When I landed like this time after time it was death on my ankles. How can I get my feet over the board to land?

Dude just pretend you're doing them on flatland and they'll be a lot easier. I've never really tryed it down stairs but I have tryed it down ledges.

i've pop-shuvited down a 4 stair. just pretend they're flatground like zac said. actully u can pop these even less than flatground cuz if it spins to fast then u can't catch it right. start out with something small like a 2 stair

I've varial kickflipped small sets like you guys are describing, which it really isn't much different to me. The hardest part in shove its/varial kickflips down stairs for me personally, is just making sure you catch it right.

shove-its down stairs aren't actually that hard, i pop it high and catch with my front foot, just make sure that you have them clean on flat ground, i've taken the nose clean off with a pop shove down some stairs
