Well, for the main surface...if you have the money, get skatelite. It's waterproof, but MAN, you'll pay for it. Another option would be masonite. For the actual wood, get pressure treated wood...or get normal wood, and water-treat it yourself.

Be sure to buy a few extra pieces of wood because you are going to mess it up no matter how hard you try. Don't forget a deck, a railing on the back of the deck, and stairs up to the deck. Also remember a bench on the deck for when your tired.

EVERYONE makes mistakes. You could be using a band saw, or jigsaw, and slip, and totally screw up a piece..whether you're a mathematician, carpenter, or a kid...

Skatelite you can find online..expensive as hell, I'd probably avoid it, unless you got super deep pockets. The pressure treated wood you can get at home depot, but I am not sure on prices. For a pressure treated 2x4, it's like $4 or something, but I don't remember the length. It could have been 5 ft (doubtful), or 20 ft...so who knows? I think you can get pressure treated wood for about half the price, although you might sacrifice a tiny bit of quality, but it won't really be noticeable.

i think a person putting a half pipe into his garden should stick with decent diy-story wood , if you want to make moey out of your "park"
and got lots of people cummin considre the skatelite, thats what i would do :)
