Hey guys. This weekend, I'll be staying at families house..who has a full workshop. I am planning on building a ramp/structure. I'm planning on a nice stable box, that will probably have a weird addition (such as a raised side...or something of that sort).. Does anyone want step by step pictures of the process? If so, I'll document it all....and put some plans for it together. Just curious about that...take it easy.

Mrock,
I think that would be a great addition to the site. It would help lots of people understand how easy it is to make a box. Please take lots of pictures and send them to me :D
Cheers

Alrighty mate.lol. I'll take my camcorder, so that I will have thousands of pictures, although I'll only send a few (main steps). I'm hoping that I'll have some nice new wood...and not old scrap wood. We'll see....

My trip got delayed for a few weeks, but It will most likely be out of solid steel (since it won't be moving...just a stationary ramp). I'm thinking that if I'm really bored, I'll purchase some wood, and build a steel box, and a nice wood one. I'd like to build a 'sloped' box..as in..it starts at 18"....and drops down to like 12"....something that has a slight slope.
As for inspiration, inspriation for a box?? A box is a regtangle shaped grinding surface..it doesn't change much, that I know of...I haven't seen any round boxes, lol.

ya but the box changes with the amount and positioning and kind of ramps rails and other street stuff. dont limit ur self to a pre thought ramp u can take any street skating object and put it on a box somewhere

yes....but I'm not gonna complicated a simple box. I don't want a huge tricked up box..something grindable...and shaped like a box, and I'm happy.

make a wide box with some angle iron or something on one edge and then have a rail on the other side on the box (wide so you have room to do manuals and shit)

I did make it..but left it at my old place when I moved to Tampa.
What is it lately with people bringing my old threads back to life?
