shit man,....thats big.......it all depends on how much money you have/are willing to spend to get it all going. You will firstly need all the wood for the ramps, then you will need the tools, then you need the time and lastly, you need a bunch of people to help construct it all, it would be better if you got a wood-worker in as well if you've never done anything as big as this.
secondly, you will need to have plans and dimensions for everything you want and you need to get used to all the tools and stuff. Most wood is kinda like life, the more you put into it, the more you will get out.....in this case, its money. The more money your willing to spend on it, the better the ramp will turn out because its cost more...therefore being better quality.

get a 3d modeling software and make a model of your park first,
sketch it get the stuff you need AND then start building. it has to be perfect

Dude this plan will work for the space that you have..plus you can put your wallride behind da bowl if ya want...I figured if you only pay for materials and do the labor yourself with friends and family's help...It should run ya around 8,000. if you had professionals do it ....it would cost more than 40k.
if you have any questions let me know.:-1:

no offense but thats nothin like i wud want
i dont really sk8 bowls or half pipes or mini so that part wudnt get ne use and 8 grand is way 2 much
what i want is
a big 6 foot quarter with 8 foot rollins on ewither side then a box with a rail goin across n down with ledges on both sides of the box then a wall ride after
then b side the box i wasnt a 7 set with a round handrail on the left and then a square 1 on the right side or just 1 handrial in the middle
then id wanna have sum space 4 a fat rail fun box n a 2 kickers 4 gaps n that stuff mayb sum quarters along the wall
how much wud u think 4 that?

i wouldn't use skatelite, if its going to be indoors. Its around 95 dollars per sheet. Use masonite, its only abomut 12 bucks a sheet, that will cut your costs a ton.

fck that, just sketch it by hand. thats what people did before there wrere computer,s but people have seem to forgotten that there was a time when computers diudnt exist. the onlyt thinh i use the comp. for is this, music, porn, and a few shitty games, like GTA 2 and AoE

I reckon 2 to 3k...If I have sum free time this week I will try and draw ya up something or find the graphics on the net and work then up to ur specs...
yeah masonite is the best way to go...skatelight is way to much dosh!
after I put it together on a picture. I will figure out the nuts and bolts of it. maybe I'll throw in a couple of variatons for ya..

yeah, and u dont need to go with that masonite or skatelite shit, regualr plywood is fine, and just coat it with polyurethane if u wanna, but plain old plywood, good ply wood for the top decks and ramps is fine.
p_h_a_t_$$
08-24-2003, 04:43 AM
how much u think i it wud cost in cnadian dollars roughly 4 wat i said i wnat, if i just use plywood n build myself
robiskewl
08-24-2003, 05:34 AM
plywood isnt that expensive
oldscoolelement
08-24-2003, 06:36 AM
not really, but it is wqhen u need alot, its like 20$ for a sheet of good wood, and need alot of wood
Freaky Styley
08-24-2003, 04:10 PM
ply wood isnt bad, but if ur not going with masonite then go with ultra ply...its like a buck more for it and u dont have to do anything with it...and its very strong stuff....in fact thats what I use.
but if I had the kind of area that you had to work with then I would just take my sweet time and get acactly what i want..and I would want masonite.
in canadian dollars im not sure...I know canadian dollars is lees than US.
after you have a complete materials list..go to ur local homedepot or lowes and price it up...they may not have masonite though but they do have ultra ply.
also dont use the heckler plans, if u can help it...I think their designs are week....
most guys who build ramps..even in indoor skatepark settings are not carpenters..so they go with what has been working for them....so they just keeping making the same mistakes over and over....with a brace here or a dado there u can increase the strenght of ur structure greatly...will last forever.

08-25-2003, 02:21 AM
Well actually building ramps that resemble the ones in the photographs is something different than just showing the pictures. What type of floor does this barn have?
It will probably cost you around $3000 CAD to build what you just showed... I hope you've been collecting pop cans ;)
Freaky Styley
08-27-2003, 10:03 PM
Well i can build them. would need another person to help and factoring skatetime...it would take about six months to complete. But after rethinking the cost...I would say that 3000 CAD would just be enough to cover the cost of framing. another 3 grand to finish it off. yeah alot of pop cans would be needed for sure.
