fs flips

i can kickflip and fs 180 really consistantly, and i have no problem with bs flips but when ever i try a fs flip the board always flips fully but only rotates 90 degrees and lands like a foot in front of me. two of my friends can do these but are morons and can't help me. any tips?

ok, you wanna turn your shoulders as you're popping the board, otherwise this will not work, you also have flip it with authority but not as hard as you would flip a kickflip, so here's the hard part, you gotta really suck your knees into your chest to let the board turn and even out, when you see the grip slam it down, depending on how well this goes, you may have to jump forward, i do, it's just a matter of commiting to it.

I can kinda to em,but I most of the time land 90 degrees. I found that sucking up my legs is the most important part so it will have time to go the full 180 degrees.
