k, i can spin the board and everything but the board spins and lands like 3 feet in front of me, and the board lands after i do....tips?

Sounds like your just kicking the shit out there and not trying to land on it. You're not jumping I'm guessing. Stay ABOVE the board, don't let that shit go in front of you or else you'll land off balance or not at all.
