I can ollie 2 decks (I could probably do 3 on a really good day...), I can 180, shuv-it, and just today I landed around 7 kickflips while standing still.

While I'm working on my moving kickflips, what else should I start working on? Am I ready to start 50-50 grinding? I've build a nice box, but I need to add some coping...

This isn't a direct answer to you question, but I know how you feel. My "way" to learning new tricks has always been that I learn whatever tricks I think are cool to watch other people do, you know? For example, If you just think it's the coolest thing to see people indy grab, then go out, and practice practice, practice, and you will get it. Sure, you can't do this if the trick is like a nollie heel nose grind...but you can at least learn to nollie, then heel, and nose grind...and put it all together. Don't necessarily learn what anyone THINKS you should learn- you're skating for yourself, right?

Today I learned a fingerflip in tailstop, but I have no clue how to start learning them moving/with the pop.

Just for clarification, it's thumb on topand spins like a kickflip (not a heelflip)

help?

i personally find heelflips easier to do than kickflips, so i think you should just go out and try different stuff. find out what comes easiest to you and pracice. as long as you stick with it you'll be able to do either.

when your tryin to learn them riding, dont try to ollie and then catch the board and flip it. instead grab the nose while riding and pull up on it first, then jump off the board and flip it. this idea made it a lot easier for me to learn it.

Ladies and gentlemen- this is how we help a fellow skater out.

Thanks... I'm gunna try that tomorrow.

On a side note, I can almost kickflip while moving...

Also does anyone have tips on doing a monkey flip? I saw one in a video and it looked really cool, but I can't seem to jump high enough while holding the board...
