I've been looking at boards in ccs for a while now. I know which ones i want to buy based on looks but i don't know based on quality. I like the way World Industries look but i heard they are really light and chip easy, and i heard that Zero are tough. Just someone help me on a good board to buy.

Just remember this, if you plan to Skate good your board will get all beat up meaning the good looks will be gone really soon...Personaly I like Baker, Powells are ok to.

get a blank. especially since your low on cash and not even sure if you wanna skate. now that i said that, and realize that you wont get a blank because it doesnt have a pretty picture on it, ill say play it safe and get a zero, a flip, or an element

i reccomend that you go to an actual shop and buy your first deck. this way, you can have the guys/gals at the shop give you advice on how big or small a board you should get. and also, if you get a board from a shop, you're morelikely not to get some crappy deck that was in the middle of the pressing and it's all flat. you dont want that, which can usually happen if you order it from an online shop. find the deck you'd like to get, and ask your local shop if they have it in stock and if they dont if they could order it for you.
in a lesser amount of words, go to your local shop and have the people that work there help you out.

I personally love my blacklabel, i've also had a girl and that was pretty nice too.~ It's kinda up to you tho... I agree with robiskewl, go to a shop and have them help you pick a deck out.

what is up with evry1? i dont see why u need to get an expensive, flash new board when u can get a board thats a little bit less quality and a lot cheaper ot buy. im talking about blanks, blank boards, wheels, trucks watever... actually not trucks

I have tried a blind, it was good, the only reason it was heavy was because it had independant trucks, but now my friend is stuck forever on saying blind sucks...because he made the choice on buying Independant Trucks...

World Industries...? *gag* stay away.... That was my first board... eeeeeeek... it had massive pop and great durability... until about a month after i got it... and the durability when down the drain, of course, when it snapped (Eeek)... I've also had a Birdhouse... I didn't like that one either, in fact I think the World board I had was better... I've ridden my friends Toy Machine too... it was okay, but I guess it was worn out a bit, even though she hardly used it at all so I assume that the durability sucks... I currently am using a Black Label and it's wicked awesome. Some of my friends own Elements too... Those aren't too shabby either. I guess the way to go as far as decks go would be either Black Label (rock on...) or Element, whatever you prefer.

i wouldnt go there i have one currently and i hate it too wide and it lost its shape in like a split second, but its more your own personal feel. if ur friends have a wide variety of different brands, buy a blank and try out their boards to see which ones u like. if there good friends they let u see their board

element makes blanks same wood and every thing just about $30 in the US. so if you look at it in reality your buying a $50+ deck so your paying like $20 for a picture that your going to grind off anyways.
im yea the pictures look cool but they arent worth the extra $20 to me.
