hm.. well it's not really ollieing, more as jumping with a big honkin piece of board attatched to your feet.
and do you mean hat you're going to start boarding in general, or gunna start trying out tricks and stuff?

Well, it's an ollie but the board is attached to your feet so it's another feeling. Sure you can take a jump and just jump in the air, but if you ollie corectly you can jump like...HIGHER.

yeah, if you know how to get mad pop right before you hit the lip of a jump, you get crazy air. plus, ollieing over rocks and fallen trees is always fun. :)

Jump turning and stuff like that can help when you're in those sketchy glades with rocks and steep powder. You really need to pop to get out of those situations.

it's far from just jumping in the air and the board following you...you have to use the board's flex to pop.

how seatbelt grab?

I can't remember the seatbelt grab from the flying squirell...but I think the seatbelt one is that you take your back hand, and grab the heelside of your front foot. A flying squirell would be the opposite. I think the best looking easy grab with a 90 is a tweaked stalefish, and with a fs 90 it'd be a tweaked nosebone.

seatbelt is when u grab the tail with ur front hand and bone the front leg(looks like lockin into a seatbelt, hence the name)

you just stretch out and grab your nose. gotta bring your knees up though, like everyother grab.
thats the key to all grabs, bring up those knees. :)

seriously nosegrab is one of the hardest grabs on snowboard. It's not like tailgrab or anything like it....cuz you don't only have to bend the front knee, but you have to extend the back one to the max if you don't want to lose balance. If you try to reach for the nose and your back leg isnt extended, you'll start to lean forward and probably will fall on the board's nose, or YOUR nose...
